The Owners

Live is a privately owned full service fitness centre in Northbridge. At Live we are very passionate about providing our members with the best training and weight loss advice possible. From the types of equipment we have to the trainers we employ the team at ‘Live’ are dedicated to helping you achieve your training and fitness goals.

Mike Fry and Nicholas Chan are the owners of the Live Fitness Centre. With a combined 45 years in fitness and martial arts we bring an extensive experience in the health, fitness and martial arts arenas.

Mike is a 3rd degree black belt in both Zen do Kai and Muay Thai.

He has competed and coached in Muay Thai and MMA and has a genuine love for teaching both adults and children. Mike also has comprehensive knowledge in nutrition and supplements; which we also offer great products here at the gym.

Nicholas brings a wealth of experience to the Centre and is internationally recognised as a Chinese Martial Arts Instructor.

Local Community

Live Fitness is actively involved in the local community, raising money for Princess Margaret Hospital and giving away over $20,000 worth of memberships to charity and sponsorship initiatives. Free memberships are offered to the families of seriously ill children in the care of Ronald McDonald House.
Live maintains great relationships with many of local businesses, with corporate memberships offered in these occasions. There are also partnerships in place with local hotels and short stay apartments.

OurGoal

“One of our goals as a ‘boxing for fitness centre’ is to bring all the skill and fitness qualities that a boxer must learn and possess, to our members without getting hit or hurt. The benefits seen include greater fitness, weight loss, increased agility and coordination and muscle tone. Boxing for fitness really is a cardio work-out for the whole body”.
